I am a self confessed control freak, and I really think it hampers my trading. I'll quite often think about just letting the market push me where it wants to go. I spend hours figuring out the right mix of stocks and ETF's for what I call a Ron Popiel Portfolio "Set It and Forget It" . I obsess quite often about the right mix of stocks and will the market go up or down. The reality is...I have no control, so I'm not sure why I even try. I think its because a bad day on the market is still better than a good day at work.
